Hellooooooo!! Remember me? Things are finally starting to settle down her at the de Jong Lake House. Most of the (indoor) renovations are done, the majority of boxes are unpacked, we spent 3 weeks celebrating the 50th anniversary of Niels' parents in Germany, Denmark, and the Netherlands, and D has started as his new school (which he loves!) I am finally getting time to sew again! I don't ever want to go that long without sewing regularly again!
Needless to say, I did not complete my July OMG, or even attempt one in August. So here we are in September and I am going with a "catch up" theme. My new sewing studio will be amazing when I'm settled in, but that will take more than one month!
So..my goal is to catch up with my blocks for Pat Sloan's Out of this World BOM.
I'm currently done with blocks for January through May, so I have to do June, July, August, and September.
If I really get myself in gear, I'll finish the monthly blog posts for each one, too! Wish me luck!

What an amazing space you have for the quilting room!! I'm looking forward to seeing it when you have it all put together.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful trip you must have had and SEW worth "falling behind"! Thanks for the overview of your new space. It's really coming together nicely, Jen, and what a joy it will be when complete!!
ReplyDeleteI am sure you will dive in now that so many big things are done! I love this studio - I have an 8'x10' room in two different locations. Both work just fine for me, but what was I thinking....I should have gotten one with real space! Good luck on you OMG!
