In the meantime, I have managed to finish my November assignment for the Prince Edward Island Modern Quilt Guild mystery quilt.
The name of this block is lozenge. It was a little tricky for me because the Anne of Green Gables fabric I'm using are from a 10" layer cake. I only have one square of some of the prints and I messed up the cutting on one--grrr... But I'm happy with how these turned out.

they are gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteWow - those blocks sure are pretty! (sorry your one fabric sheet got messed up - hopefully you'll be able to use it in future parts) And now I'm remembering that your sharing of this project is why I had to buy a bunch of Anne fabric. :) I have it all washed - just need to figure out which prints I had intended for what parts of the quilt I wanted to make with it. I hadn't seen that book yet - looks like something I'd really love. Have you read "Before Green Gables" by Budge Wilson? I enjoyed it quite a bit. Still love the original series in a way that can't be touched, but it's so nice to go through these related works.
ReplyDeleteNice blocks! Such pretty colours!
ReplyDeleteGosh I love these colors! I'm a big Anne fan so I'm really loving this mystery. Sorry you messed up a bit but the end result is lovely. Funny. I watch Hallmark channel too when I want to crank out my quilting or piecing. Thanks for linking up to Wednesday Wait Loss.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite color - pink! Love it!
